Porthos' back is up, stressed at the notion that Athos will take him away from this. He hates this, more than he can say, because he's beyond grateful to have Athos here, but to have him imply that they are only here temporarily until they can return home to where people hate him and he cannot be with Aramis properly, it breaks his heart more than he can say.
