"We can never keep it on full, or Aramis' precious eyes burn," Porthos replies, having stolen another piece of Aramis' cake while he's up giving the demonstration of the switches. "I'll do your lights for you, soon as you get settled," he promises, swallowing down the large slice he'd just eaten. "Besides, I like it dimmed best," he admits, but can't give his reasoning as it happens to be that he likes the look of Aramis' face in the softer lights.
