King Henry IV is assassinated by Francois Ravaillac. Marie de' Medici rules as regent

Marie de' Medici is exiled, Louis takes control of the government.
La Fere is called to send troops to protect the king, Athos takes part in fighting

Rebellions galore! Hugonots rebel, French nobles rebel, chaos ensues.
Athos serves in the French army in some capacity

Athos meets and marries "Anne de Breuil"

The musketeers regiment is formed by Louis XIII

Cardinal Richelieu becomes chief minister of France

Thomas is killed, Athos hangs "Anne", joins the Musketeers later that year
